    DIX HILLS, N.Y. - The College of New Rochelle's men's basketball team traveled to Long Island on Tuesday as they as they faced off against the Five Towns College Sound. In a dominating performance, the Angels won their fifth game of the year 114-78. The 114 points scored is the most by the Angels in program history surpassing their previous record of 110 which they achieved in back-to-back games against John Jay and Valley Forge last season.

    LANGHORNE, PA - The College of New Rochelle women's basketball team traveled to Cairn University on Saturday to face off against the Highlanders. In a tough match, the Angels fell to the Highlanders 76-65. The Angels were led by juniors Dar'Neisha Brice (California, MD) and Ashley Martin (Queens, N.Y.) as both recorded a double-double, the first of the season for Brice and the second for Martin.

    NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. - The Men's JV Team faced off against Monroe College JV in their season opener on Friday. In a tough fought game, the Angels were unable to come away with the win as they fell 51-93. The Angels posted 20 points in the first half and came out even stronger in the second posting 31 points in their tough loss to the Mustangs. Despite the loss the Angels had a few impressive performances on the night.

    BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The College of New Rochelle men's basketball team traveled to Brooklyn on Thursday as they took on the Brooklyn College Bulldogs. In a tough fought performance the Angels were able to pull away from the Bulldogs winning their third straight road game. The win brings them to 2-0 against Brooklyn College in the West Quad center at Brooklyn College as well as 2-0 overall against the Bulldogs. Head Coach Dan Nigro said after the game, "This was a statement win against a very good team. We have shown that we can compete with the local conferences."
