WELCOME TO THE NEW HVMAC HOME ON THE WEB!
First-ever independent design to serve as 'information central' for everything HVMAC

(New York, NY - 10/1/07) - The Hudson Valley Men's Athletic Conference (HVMAC) has a new home on the world wide web!
Sports Information Director
Michael Spinner launched HVMAC.net today with the hopes that it will take the marketing and
promotion of the conference to a new level among Division III Athletics Conferences. For the last year, the HVMAC's official
website was hosted by the College of Mount Saint Vincent.

"We're all very grateful to the Athletics and Public Relations staffs at Mount Saint Vincent for allowing our conference to
have its first ever home for a website, and the experience of having a site for the first time taught everybody in the
conference how important it is to have a great website," said Spinner. "I think launching our own site will allow us to
market and promote our conference in new and exciting ways, and give us a tremendous presence among Division III
Athletics Conferences. If you look at the SUNY AC, the MAC, and other Division III Conferences who utilize an in-house
website, our design is of a similar quality, and I think that is an amazing thing. I hope when all is said and done we'll be
able to say we have the best in-house conference website among Division III conferences across the country."

The new website features a simple design, allowing viewers easy navigation to gather information on each HVMAC sport,
as well navigation at the top of the page featuring every HVMAC member institution's athletics logo, complete with
hyperlink to the school's athletics page. Eventually, Spinner said, the website will offer logo and roster downloads, and an
archive that will date back as far as conference records have been kept.

"It's going to be a very user friendly website once it's all finished." Spinner said. "Each school has a link, each sport has a
section, and we're going to offer a history of the conference, along with downloads so both conference and
non-conference schools can have an easier time doing their sports information work. It's a process building a website,
right now all of the basic information is published. But by next year, I hope this site has everything one would want in a
conference website."
